 Received in great conditionSep 10, 2010
Hello, my sons have not said anything about this game not working even though we bought it used. We received it very quickly in the mail and we are very pleased.

The graphics are beautiful. The enemy and friendly AI is great. However you are put in very narrow tunnels with little freedom of movement and no capability for strategy. Also there are times when you're stuck with a boring chore while the computer has the fun: you carry the shield while the computer friendly shoots the bad guys or you drive the boat while the computer friendly shoots. The storyline stinks.

Avoid with one exceptionSep 05, 2010
The single player campaign was entertaining and special ops missions were a great, but multiplayer will cause a spike in blood pressure. There are many issues with this game that have been ignored by the developer and have caused many people to quit the game. Some issues include the constant grenade and "noob tube (M203 attachment)" spamming, certain aerial killstreaks (such as the Harrier and Pavelow) locking onto you the moment you step out into the open when they shouldn't, and the ability to replenish certain sorts of equipment and ammunition with One Man Army.
I cannot help but not recommend this game to anyone who is contemplating the purchase with one exception. The exception is if all of your buddies play this then I can recommend it to you, however, you will still face the problems listed above regardless. For the rest, I recommend waiting for Halo: Reach (out in 9 days) or CoD: Black Ops (next iteration of this series, out in under two months).

Are their flaws with this game? Sure...every game has some things you'd like to have added or removed. But I'm giving this game a perfect score because it's the only game me and my friends play. Literally - we all bought a PS3, and this $60 has provided HOURS...WEEKS...MONTHS of online gaming goodness for us.
Forget the single player, we haven't even touched that yet. Just playing the multiplayer is addicting like crack. Campers drive you nuts, MLC knifers make you pull your hair out, noobtubers make you want to kick your console...but it doesn't matter. We all keep coming back to this game daily.
I was never big into FPS games, but this game is just...wow. A year later, and I still play it all the time with friends.
